About the Role
From August 9–11, 2025, Flux School of Art will present the annual FLUX Show, a multidisciplinary art exhibition. We are seeking a Curatorial Assistant/Intern to support the curator and principal of Flux in executing the exhibition. This is a hands-on opportunity for a high school student interested in visual arts, design, or creative event production to gain real-world experience.
Ideal Candidate:
Passionate about art, design, and event planning
Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Available 5–10 hours per week during the summer
Volunteer Hours are available upon request.
Requirements
Assist with organizing and cataloging artwork
Support social media content creation and outreach
Help design the layout and placement of artwork within the exhibition space
Participating in planning meetings
Help with setup and on-site support during the exhibition weekend

FLUX School of Art offers multi-media art classes to K-12 students as well as art workshops/memberships for adults. is dedicated to popularizing art knowledge, creativity, and techniques to students of all ages.
