FLUX SHOW 2026

Exhibition Practice is a studio-based course focused on creating artwork with exhibition in mind. Students learn to develop pieces that respond to gallery space, consider scale and placement, and curate how viewers experience their work. The course emphasizes presentation, installation, and visual impact, guiding students to manage how artworks perform in a real exhibition setting. Each student will produce a refined, exhibition-ready body of work created specifically for FLUX SHOW 2026, preparing them to think and work like professional artists.
FLUX SHOW 2026 expands beyond traditional painting to include installation art, AI-assisted creation, projection mapping, 3D modeling, and VR-based works. Students explore how emerging technologies intersect with contemporary art practice, creating immersive and multimedia experiences for viewers. This exhibition will be Houston’s first multimedia art show dedicated to elementary and middle school students, presenting a bold vision of how young artists engage with the future of art.
